O g\u00fcnden beri \u00e7ok \u015fy oldu: \u0130ki d\u00fcnya sava\u015f\u0131, Auschwitz, atom bombas\u0131, i\u00e7ten yanmal\u0131 motor, televizyon, mikro\u00e7ip. O halde \u015fimdi bu adam\u0131n ya\u015fam\u0131 ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerine ili\u015fkin bir kitap yazman\u0131n ne \u00e2lemi var?<\/p>\n<p>Bu sorunun \u00fc\u00e7 cevab\u0131 var. \u00d6ncelikle Marx, d\u00fcnyaya bak\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 k\u00f6k\u00fcnden de\u011fi\u015ftirmi\u015f bir avu\u00e7 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcrden biriydi. Hepsi de ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z oldu. Hi\u00e7biri Marx\u2019\u0131n esas ald\u0131\u011f\u0131, kapitalist s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131n \u00f6rg\u00fctl\u00fc g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc bozguna u\u011fratma ve onun yerine i\u015f\u00e7i iktidar\u0131n\u0131n yeni ve radikal demokratik bir bi\u00e7imini getirme ad\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 atamad\u0131. Onun hakk\u0131nda say\u0131s\u0131z yalan \u00fcretildi, bir\u00e7ok \u015feyle yaftaland\u0131: Tutucu, Yahudi d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131 ve Hitler\u2019in habercisi (bir Yahudi ve bir enternasyonalist olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen); hatta \u201caslen dini\u201d bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr (Marx ya\u015fam\u0131 boyunca ateistti!). Say\u0131s\u0131z mektubu, burjuva \u201cbilim insanlar\u0131\u201d taraf\u0131ndan onun kaba ya da \u0131rk\u00e7\u0131 bir ifadesini yakalama umuduyla g\u00f6zlem alt\u0131na al\u0131nd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Ancak bu iftiralar\u0131 \u00e7\u00fcr\u00fctmek g\u00f6rece kolayd\u0131r. Zor olan Marx\u2019\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinin yanda\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n ellerinde kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 sapt\u0131rmalarla ba\u015f etmektir. \u201cB\u00fct\u00fcn bildi\u011fim marksist olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131md\u0131r\u201d demi\u015fti ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n sonlar\u0131na do\u011fru: \u201cTanr\u0131, beni dostlar\u0131mdan korusun!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marx\u2019\u0131n fikirlerinin bu \u201cdost\u00e7a\u201d yanl\u0131\u015f yorumlanmas\u0131n\u0131n iki ana kayna\u011f\u0131 vard\u0131: Birincisi ve en \u00f6nemlisi \u201cmarksizm-leninizm\u201din ba\u015fta Sovyetler Birli\u011fi ve \u00c7in Halk Cumhuriyeti olmak \u00fczere birtak\u0131m \u00f6nemli ve g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc devletin resmi ideolojisi olmas\u0131d\u0131r. G\u00f6stermeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131m gibi Marx\u2019\u0131n sosyalizmi \u201ca\u015fa\u011f\u0131dan\u201d sosyalizmdi. \u0130\u015f\u00e7ilerin kendi eylemlili\u011fiyle \u00f6zg\u00fcrle\u015fmelerini ve hayallerindeki toplumu kendilerinin kurmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcyordu. Ancak Do\u011fu Bloku\u2019ndaki \u201creel sosyalizm\u201d i\u015f\u00e7ilerin kendi eylemlili\u011finin reddiyesini ve halk demokrasisinin inkar\u0131n\u0131 temel almaktad\u0131r. Polonya\u2019daki Dayan\u0131\u015fma\u2019n\u0131n y\u00fckseli\u015fi ve \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015f\u00fc, bu konudaki t\u00fcm ku\u015fkular\u0131 ortadan kald\u0131rd\u0131. Marx\u2019\u0131n fikirlerinin onun ad\u0131na h\u00fck\u00fcm s\u00fcren devletlerce anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131p anla\u015f\u0131lmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 konusunu son b\u00f6l\u00fcmde ele alaca\u011f\u0131m.<\/p>\n<p>Sapt\u0131rman\u0131n di\u011fer nedeni, Marx\u2019\u0131n akademisyenlerce ke\u015ffedilmi\u015f olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Sadece eserlerinin y\u00fczlerce yorumun ve doktora tezinin konusu olmas\u0131 de\u011fildir s\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fc etti\u011fimiz. Emek hareketinde de\u011fil, \u00fcniversitelerde ve y\u00fcksek okullarda, hedefi kapitalizmi devirmek de\u011fil, marksizmi incelemek olan yeni bir marksizm t\u00fcrevi ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Bu t\u00fcr\u00fcn kibar ad\u0131 \u201cbat\u0131 marksizmi\u201ddir, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00fcyeleri aslen Avrupa ve Kuzey Amerika\u2019da bulunur. Buna \u201cakademik marksizm\u201d demek daha do\u011fru olabilir. Bu ak\u0131m\u0131n i\u00e7inde yer alanlar, kendi yans\u0131mas\u0131na a\u015f\u0131k olan mitolojik fig\u00fcr Narcissus\u2019u hat\u0131rlat\u0131yor. Bu akademik marksistlerin t\u00fcm \u00fcrettikleri hemen bir tarafa at\u0131lamaz. Bazen kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z kavramlar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klama ve geli\u015ftirmeye zaman ay\u0131rmak gerekir, fakat bat\u0131 marksistleri i\u00e7in bu etkinli\u011fin kendisi ama\u00e7 haline gelmi\u015ftir. Sonu\u00e7ta y\u00fcksek nitelikli entelekt\u00fcellerden olu\u015fan, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir az\u0131nl\u0131k d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda \u00f6yle herkesin anlayamayaca\u011f\u0131 bir\u00e7ok metin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>O halde bu kitab\u0131n amac\u0131 Marx\u2019\u0131 maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 sapt\u0131rmalardan kurtarmak; onun temel fikirlerini m\u00fcmk\u00fcn oldu\u011funca a\u00e7\u0131k ve basit bir bi\u00e7imde ortaya koymakt\u0131r. Bunun kolay bir i\u015f olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u015fik\u00e2r. \u00d6ncelikle sosyal demokratlar, ortodoks kom\u00fcnistler, maocular, \u00e7e\u015fit \u00e7e\u015fit tro\u00e7kistler gibi her t\u00fcrden sosyalist, Marx\u2019\u0131 kendi politik g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini do\u011frulatmak i\u00e7in okuyor. Bu kitab\u0131n devrimci sosyalist bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131yla yaz\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ba\u015ftan s\u00f6ylemeliyim. Di\u011fer bir deyi\u015fle Marx\u2019\u0131n inanc\u0131n\u0131 payla\u015f\u0131yorum: Kapitalizm kendi do\u011fas\u0131nda ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00e7eli\u015fkiler nedeniyle ya sosyalizm ya barbarl\u0131k noktas\u0131na evrilecek ve insanl\u0131k ad\u0131na tek umut, i\u015f\u00e7i s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131n\u0131n bu s\u00f6m\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc toplumsal sistemle birlikte kapitalist devlet mekanizmas\u0131n\u0131 imha edip yerine kendi d\u00fczenini kurmas\u0131d\u0131r. Bu, kitapta Marx\u2019a y\u00f6nelik hi\u00e7bir ele\u015ftiri getirilmedi\u011fi anlam\u0131na gelmez. G\u00f6zde s\u00f6ylemi \u201cku\u015fku her \u015feydir\u201d olan adam, Sovyetler Birli\u011fi\u2019nde yarat\u0131l\u0131p onu yan\u0131lmaz bir guru olarak g\u00f6steren k\u00fcltten nefret ederdi. Fakat kitap her \u015feyden \u00f6nce Marx\u2019\u0131n fikirlerinin bir sunumu ve savunmas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130kinci olarak Marx\u2019\u0131n fikirlerine dair herhangi bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n tart\u0131\u015fmal\u0131 olmas\u0131 ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmazd\u0131r. Yaz\u0131lar\u0131 etraf\u0131nda o kadar \u00e7ok \u00e7eli\u015fkili yorum varken anlatt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamak may\u0131n tarlas\u0131nda y\u00fcr\u00fcmek gibidir. Dahas\u0131 bir birey olarak Marx bazen tutars\u0131z ve mu\u011flakt\u0131 ve irili ufakl\u0131 baz\u0131 konularda fikrini de\u011fi\u015ftirdi. Bu zorluklar\u0131 a\u015farken dar bir patikadan ge\u00e7mek gerekir. \u201cMarx\u2019\u0131n ger\u00e7ekte s\u00f6ylemek istedi\u011fi\u201dnden \u201cMarx\u2019\u0131n s\u00f6ylemi\u015f olmas\u0131 gereken, fakat s\u00f6ylemedi\u011fi\u201dne ge\u00e7i\u015f yapmak kolayd\u0131r. Umar\u0131m ben ikincisini yapmam\u0131\u015f\u0131md\u0131r. Bunu yapmakla su\u00e7lanabilece\u011fim tek yer, Marx\u2019\u0131n tarih teorisine ili\u015fkin 5. b\u00f6l\u00fcmd\u00fcr. Burada Marx\u2019\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerinin de\u011fi\u015fti\u011fine ve Alman \u0130deolojisi ile Kapital aras\u0131nda geli\u015fme g\u00f6sterdi\u011fine inan\u0131yorum; a\u00e7\u0131klamam\u0131 ikinci ve daha olgun olan esere dayand\u0131rd\u0131m.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc olarak Engels\u2019in yaz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n Marx\u2019\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ne kadar g\u00fcvenilir bir rehber olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclebilece\u011fi sorusu s\u00f6z konusudur. Engels \u0130kinci Enternasyonal taraf\u0131ndan ve Do\u011fu Bloku\u2019nda ortodokslu\u011fun mihenk ta\u015f\u0131 say\u0131l\u0131yordu. \u015eimdi bat\u0131daki bir\u00e7ok marksist, Engels\u2019i Marx\u2019\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesini \u00e7arp\u0131tan, Marx\u2019\u0131n k\u00f6t\u00fc bir kopyas\u0131 olarak g\u00f6rmektedir. Engels hakk\u0131ndaki bu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fler reddedilmelidir. O hi\u00e7bir zaman Marx kadar b\u00fcy\u00fck ya da \u00f6zg\u00fcn bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr oldu\u011funu iddia etmedi: \u201cMarx bir dahiydi; bizler olsak olsak yetenekli insanlard\u0131k\u201d.
